If your kids like clowns, check out Happy Joe's. The pizza is great, too.

I agree. I actually have worked there for 8 years and been a clown for MANY parties. Customers have told me they love our birthday parties. For the price and what's included in the package - it is a great deal. The clown serves the entire party, cleans up, and plays games with the kids. But if you don't need the birthday package, you can still reserve tables and celebrate on your own. Try the taco pizza - yum!

While Happy Joe's is a great place to eat, I think they need a "sauerkraut" section (like smoking/non-smoking). It would be good to think of delicious pizza without the sauerkraut smell. But that's just me.

Yes, there is really Sauerkraut pizza! I know, crazy.

You would be surprised how many people actually order it. It's called the "Happy Joe's Special" - Canadian Bacon and Sauerkraut.

But we are known more for the "Taco Joe" pizza.

My family started going to Happy Joe's about 22 years ago.  Even though we live in North County, we thought it was worth the drive for the great pizza.  We always went on a Monday or Tuesday night to get the "Family Special".  We don't seem to go there very much now, especially with the construction on Highway 40.
