Not expecting names or #'s, just wondering how in the world people find sitters for nights out. I've tried word of mouth but no luck. Thanks!

Hi You might call one of the local child care centers and see if they have any teachers who are interested in working a few hours on the weekend or you might call the Human Resources Dept. at one of the local colleges or Jr. Colleges and ask if they have any early education students that might be interested.

I'm also in need of an evening sitter for date night and other events. We have an event scheduled the first week in August and I have not been able to find someone to watch my 8 month old daughter. Any names would be helpful. I live in Arnold. I've looked at sitterslink.com and other various websites but I prefer word of mouth and recommendations rather than feeling like I'm flipping through the yellow pages. I appreciate any input. Thanks!
