What does Thanksgiving mean to you? Turkey, TV,  a round of touch football or scoping your map for sales the following day? Do you have a special tradition that your family does every year? Are you looking to start a family tradition with your kids? How many houses do you have to travel to?

Our family has come to my house for the last 6 years with the exception of one year. We have one tradidtion that I love and will continue with my children and one day when I have grand children. This one was started by my mother years ago. Before we eat we all go around the table a tell of something that we are thankful for. Now mind you that there is my mom and dad, my 3 siblings with their spouses and 15 grandkids total. We sit in two shifts. The kids go first and then the adults. I love this time of year. This has been a tradition that I have even carried with me when we were away in the military for 10 years. We would have dinner with all our friends and share in thanks, partake in an awesome meal and always share laughs and wonderful memories.

I would love to hear how you share with your family and what traditions and legacies you are leaving to your kids.
