I found a GREAT article on the vaccine controversy that I am very excited about and I invite you all to read it as well.

This is a link to the article:

This link is to AskDrSears.com site for his vaccine book:

If you have never heard of the Sears Family before then I also recommend checking out more of their publications. I've read several of the family books and found that the methods, reasons and practices that they recommend fit very well into our family lifestyle.

Sincerely,
Sarah

My daughter is near the 1 year old mark and you know what that means....THE DREADED MMR SHOT!!!  I have read several items that suggest the MMR shot should be given separated.  I asked my pediatrician about this and he said they cannot get the injection separated because it is too costly.  He suggested that I ask the Jefferson County Health Dept.  They also said they only can receive the combined MMR shot from the government.  My cousin's children had their MMR shot separated (by request) about 2 years ago.  Does anyone know of a pediatrian that will happily separate the MMR shot?

I will call my ped. and see what their policy is. George is due for his MMR and I am procrastinating it and even considering not giving it to him until he is ready to start school...

Anyone got any advice or suggestions out there?

Sincerely,
Sarah
