Hey I thought I would offer up an idea on a great park in the south county area. It's called Mini Ha Ha, it has a great walking path and three playgrounds throughout the path. It's off of Gravios and 270.

I forgot they reopened Mini Ha Ha! I haven't been there since I was a kid (It used to be a beach and picnic area when I was a kid & was closed because of the Times Beach thing) and I would love to see how it turned out! If I get a chance, I'll go by there. If I remember correctly it's pretty easy to get to.

It's really easy to find, if you are coming from the ballwin, manchester area you go 270S and go right on gravios and immediately get in the left lane to turn left onto gravios before it turns into 30 then go right at the stop sign and just go straight until you see it on the right and if you are coming from South County mall for example go 270n and go left on gravios then cross over 270 and go left onto outer gravios. The only is, is that I don't know if there was any flooding there because it is right on the river. The path is great, it's all through trees and what not and there is even a little look out area where you can see the river. I would love to go on Wed. I have one thing that I may have to do, but if it falls through I hope to meet up with you all.

Hey Ladies!
Our Wellness Team has been out checking the local parks for trails, playgrounds, and beautiful ponds!
We went to Suson park a couple of weeks ago and it was beautiful! Wonderful day, lots of sunshine, and the petting zoo kept Joey busy!! If you like to fish Suson is a wonderful place to go!
Last week we went to Fenton Park! Ok I loved this park! The trails are beautiful, great playgrounds, and the walk went by so fast!! Here are a few pictures of Fenton Park!
Needless to say you can see how beautiful it is! The trees were blooming and it was an amazing day! Remember to bring your it gets pretty sunny!!
Tomorrow we walk again! The weather seems a little rough, so I think we will be hitting South County mall again! We will be meeting at the entrance by Applebees around 9ish!! Hey Ladies! I did it!
I know I have been sharing my story about my weight loss and I just wanted to give you all a little update on how my Summer has been! Well, in April I entered a contest that the company I work with was having. The goal was to lose 10% of your body weight by August! The company has a huge convention in Salt Lake City and I was so excited to go! Here was what I could win!
Grand Prize was a Ford Mustang!! OMG it was hot, and the car of my dreams! 1st prize was $3,000 and 2nd was $500! Ok so it was weigh in day in Salt Lake and I was so nervous! What my scale reads may not be what the scale there does. That was my biggest worry! On my scale I was 12 lbs under my 10%! No problem! Well when I got there the scale I weighed on was 7lbs heavier! Thanks God I lost that extra 12 lbs or I wouldn't have made it!!
Ok so I made the 10% and was so excited to be in the running for the prizes! I had already won in my mind I lost 48lbs!!
Ok here is the kicker! If you make the 10% club, your name is placed in a drawing! Yes just the luck of the draw!! 61 people made the club and omg how crazy was that! It was the longest day of my life! LOL
They called the $500 dollar winners and I actually thought they called my name.........So I'm up on stage thinking I won $500 and then they call the $3,000 winner! ME I was like "Hey Hey that's me!!" I felt like a dork!! LOL Oh well, I'm $3,000 richer and it was an amazing experience! Working for a great company that helps me get healthy and winning 1st place at the same time! I love it!

Congrats Jana! The look on your face was priceless, when you were announced as one of the $3000 winners!! I know you wanted that car, but the $3000 isn't bad.....and better than being one of the $500 winners, right?
