I was wondering if anyone had tried an at-home lead test on their childs toys.  I have the First Alert test kit that I'm going to try.  Our consumer reporter Elliot Weiler told me many of these tests are unreliable.  I am concerned about the toys I saved from when my 7 year old was a baby.  Now my 1 year old loves to play with them and yes she puts things in her mouth.  I'll let everyone know how the results come out.

I havent ever used one. Maybe you could test with 2 diffeent kinds of tests and see if you get the same results. Good luck Cristi
