I took my kids there a few months ago, I had never been there before so I really didn't know what to expect. Their website says that kids of all ages can enjoy it, but I just didn't see that. My older 2 had fun, but the little one didn't. I would say that it is more appropriate for kids ages 4 and up. While I was there I was thinking about how much fun it would be for my husband and I to go on a date there one Friday night. How much fun would it be climbing through the caves, tubes, tunnels, and going down big huge slides. Just acting like a kid again with no worries. I plan to go just the 2 of us soon and I will be sure to let everyone know what it was like! Does anyone else have any interesting date places around the St. Louis area?

I like the City Museum, too, but some of those exhibits looks dangerous for kids to be around. I'm surprised there haven't been any lawsuits yet.

We Love the City Museum all of my daughters friends love it its about the only place we have been going for the last 7 or so years however long they have been open. I wish they had more coupons or cheaper deals, though, Love IT Alot !!!!! Some stupid people have gotten hurt but has only been college kids trespassing where they shouldn't be and stuff like that no actual kids hurt. I know almost everybody that works there they know us by our names and faces, that's how I know so much I know Bob the owner. Enjoy, Thanks.

What about The Magic House in Kirkwood? My children have a blast when we visit.

We love the City Museum! We have gone with just adults and have gone with children, and we always have a blast. One thing with the City Museum is we have taken my very adventurous, but petite 3-year old niece, and in some of the tunnels, I was glad we had other children with us because she found so many nooks and cranny's none of the adults could have thought about fitting into. It's always a quiet ride home as all of them have always fallen asleep within about 20 minutes of leaving.

I haven't been to the Magic House in years, but my step-daughters have gone there on field trips and have always had a good time. I'd like to go back there sometime soon
