I am really getting frustrated with the SICKNESS that has overtaken my home for nearly the past two months. Now granted, there are six of us so there are definitely lots of germs coming and going even though I stay home with my kiddos...but, please, this is ridiculous. We have been through a hospital stay (RSV) with our baby, multiple ear infections with all three kiddos, the flu, a broken arm, and the list just seems to never end. I feel like either my husband or myself have taken one child or another to the pediatrician at least two or three times every week since the first of the year. My sister, who is in middle school, lives with us as well and she is now also sick with flu(?) I guess. I am currently sick also (sore throat, body aches, headache), although I am feeling better today than yesterday.
Well enough details about all of our illnesses....my question is.....what am I going to do to stop this neverending cycle of sickness that has overtaken our home and life?!?! I am to the point that I don't even want to make any plans, because we end up having to cancel almost everything because someone is sick. It has crossed my mind to pull my kids out of pre-school, dance, and anything else and just hibernate until March!! I am that desperate for wellness!!! Now seriously....is this just how it goes with three kiddos? I realize it is "that time of the year" and I am also not completely ignorant and realize that "good hand washing" is the best defense...but still....come on!!
Give me some sound advice Moms! And.....wish and pray for wellness for my family as well if ya don't mind too much!! Thanks!
