Some of us got a chance to see an awesome play called "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" last night at the Playhouse at Westport. Honestly, I wasn't looking that forward to going because I had worked a full day and was tired, but I'm SOOOO glad I went. I haven't laughed that hard in years! If you have ever been in any stage of a romantic relationship, you will totally identify. The actors are great -- there's only six of them but they each take turns playing different characters (You HAVE to see "Trentel" -- a prison inmate giving advice on relationships).  It was fun going with my girlfriends, but I think my husband would have enjoyed it too. GO SEE IT if you can (I think it's only playing until November sometime).

The play was really funny and I would love to take my husband to go see it, if we can get a babysitter! But, I also think it is a great idea for a girls night out. Eventhough we were all so tired, one of the best parts of the evening was seeing all of my girfriends laughing hysterically.

It was incredible how 6 people could play so many different characters and pull you into each scene, even if you didn't want to be in some *wink* I think that the Playhouse was a cozy setting. I go to the Muny every year. This was my first time at the Playhouse. I did laugh mostly at the show and some at my friends and their laughter was contagious. I will say that this is for an adult audience only. I have worked with kids for so long some scenes caught me off gaurd and I blushed, wanted to crawl under my chair and even told Jana that I should be in church...I had a great time. Liz I loved the prison intervention scene but I think another favorite was the tear jerk scene.
