My name is ColleenR and I live in University City, MO. My husband John and I married in 2001 and we have four children. Rebecca, my stepdaughter, is 12 and incredibly bright (and her siblings can't get enough of her). Then we have Lucy who was born in March 2004, Annabelle in September 2005 and Henry in October 2006. Yes, you read that right, three children in three years - 17 months and 13 months apart respectively. But, that is how we wanted it, and I wouldn’t change it for the world. The kids are already developing a real closeness that (I hope) they will benefit from as they get older. I also work part time at St. Louis University School of Public Health as a public health nurse for an asthma program thru the St. Louis Regional Asthma Consortium. I am so thankful to have the ability to be both a mom and a professional; I think it gives me (and the entire family for that matter) some sanity. My husband and I enjoy staying active in a variety of sports and activities (from softball and basketball to Jamcorps to dinners with friends). Some of my other interests include cooking (well, eating too – that’s why I have to try to stay active!), most anything outdoors, foreign/independent films and reading. I am also in the process of becoming certified to teach prenatal exercise. I am really looking forward to it because I think exercising when I was pregnant really made a difference in me physically and mentally, and I look forward to being able to offer that to other moms.
